U.S. minor dependent accounts allow for parents to select providers, schedule appointments, and communicate with providers directly within the app. This update is active as of November 4th, 2024 for all United States members. As a result of this change, you will no longer receive emails from our Care Matching Team regarding initial matches. At this time, there will be no change for International providers who are providing care to minors.
All minors have a gray badge that clearly indicates they are an underage client.
Providers on the Full Dashboard are able to Message the parent/guardian.
- The parent/guardian name and the minor's name appear on the collapsed list of messages.
- When it's a direct message with a parent/guardian there is also an icon to indicate that it's a Message with a minor's parent/guardian.
Minor's Member Profile page indicate the parent/guardian's name and email.
- The minor's profile note that the Topics of Focus were selected by the parent/guardian
- You have access to the parent/guardian's email address in the Guardian's Information section. Feel free to use this email to contact and communicate with the parent/guardian in order to coordinate paperwork.
You can either use email or Messages to coordinate session scheduling.
Providers are able to meet with minors within their Modern Health app via the autogenerated Zoom link in the Dashboard.
