In order to provide additional overage sessions for your client, you or the member must book the session through the dashboard in advance of the scheduled session time. Scheduling in advance ensures that you will be able to invoice for the session and will be prompted to indicate Diagnosis and CPT codes.
If you have your calendar connected to the dashboard, members will be able to book sessions directly with you after verifying their eligibility through the Modern Health app.
Please note, you are not able to schedule HPI sessions for members who have not yet submitted their insurance information to Modern Health.
Once you have confirmed that the member is eligible for additional sessions through their health plan, please follow the below steps to book an overage session.
1. To schedule a session, first select the "Schedule a session" button on the Sessions page.
2. A pop-up menu will appear that allows you to select your client's name and indicate the session date and time. Please note: If you have your calendar connected and would like to schedule a session that falls outside of your working hours, please ensure that the toggle is set to "ON".
2(a). If the member whom you are trying to schedule for has not yet inputted their insurance information on the Modern Health platform, the dashboard will indicate this and allow you to send them a reminder to complete this information.
2(b). If this is the case, you will have the option to send a reminder through the dashboard for the member to complete their insurance information to confirm eligibility for HPI.
2(c). If you select to send them a reminder, the member will receive an email from Modern Health informing them that they will need to fill out a form with their insurance information on the Modern Health website to check their coverage.
2(d). Once the member inputs their information, you will receive an email that your client’s HPI eligibility has been confirmed and you will be able to proceed with scheduling a session!
3. Once you have filled in the relevant details and scheduled the visit, a confirmation window will pop up with the session details indicating that the session was successfully scheduled.
