The Provider Dashboard is synchronized with your computer's local clock. If it detects any changes in your timezone, it will prompt you to update the dashboard accordingly. However, there are occasions when the dashboard may not update to the correct timezone automatically and may become stuck. If you encounter this issue, please follow the instructions below to reset your dashboard's timezone.
How to Update Your Provider Dashboard Timezone
1. Clear Cached Site Data & Cookies
First, clear your browser's cached site data and cookies for the Provider Dashboard. This step will vary based on the browser you use, so here are guides for some of the most popular browsers to reference:
Instructions for Google Chrome
- Click the icon at the far left of the address bar
- Select “Site Settings”
- Click “Delete Data” to clear your Cache for this site
- This action will not affect your stored data, as everything is synced to the cloud.
2. Update Your Computer's Time Zone
Adjust your computer's time zone under your computer's Date & Time settings, which can be found under the System Settings. This will prompt your Provider Dashboard to synchronize to the new time zone.
3. Log Into Your Provider Dashboard
After updating your computer’s time zone, re-open your browser and log back into the Provider Dashboard. It should now prompt you to adjust to the new time zone. Click 'Save' to confirm this change.
Additional Notes
- If your local time zone is different from your desired dashboard time zone, follow the previous steps and then reset your device’s time zone back to your local setting.
- Ensure your connected calendars are set to your local time zone to maintain consistency when clients schedule sessions. The events will then appear in your local time rather than the dashboard time zone.
- You will be prompted to update your dashboard time zone each time there is a discrepancy between your device and the dashboard settings when accessing the provider dashboard.
- To avoid frequent prompts, you can choose 'Not Now' if you wish to maintain a different time zone from your local setting on your dashboard.
