Because members ultimately choose their providers, many factors are outside our control. The Provider Support team cannot predict when you’ll receive matches or take manual steps to guarantee more referrals. However, you can review and adjust elements of your profile and configuration to help strengthen visibility and increase your chances of selection.
What can I do to improve my profile for potential matches?
We have observed over time that our members generally tend to prefer to match with providers who have their calendar connected because this gives them ease of self-scheduling. If you work with an electronic calendar and would like to try connecting it to the Dashboard, you are welcome to try this out and see if it impacts you at all. Our algorithm does take into account our provider’s listed specializations. Please ensure that you are updating specializations as needed, so that both our app and Care Matching Team can connect our members to providers who best fit their needs. We have found bios of ~80-100 words written in the first person perform best with clients. We recommend the following information below as a guideline for your profile bio:
- One sentence about your professional history and credentials
- One sentence about your specialties and relevant work experience.
- One-two sentences on your therapeutic approach and what clients can expect from you
- One sentence about what you like to do outside of work
We know this is a lot to fit within 100 words, so focus on the areas you feel are most important to your brand!
