How do I bulk chat with clients?

To drive efficiency, you can send the same message (in private HIPAA compliant chats) to multiple clients at the same time by leveraging the Bulk Chat feature. Here are a few examples of when a bulk chat may be helpful:

  • Sending homework assignments
  • Reminding clients to retake their wellbeing assessment
  • Sending out a message about scheduling

To utilize the bulk chat feature, you must first narrow down your recipients from your client list and perform the following steps:

  1. Your clients list can be easily manipulated to display the individuals that you would like to see. For more information on the meaning of each filter and how to leverage them, please reference this article: How do I filter my client list?

  2. Once you have established your list of recipients, you can then select each person individually by checking off the box next to their name or by checking the box at the very top to select all.

You will notice that the 'Bulk Chat' button turns blue when you have selected the recipients of the message. The button will not appear blue unless you have checked off at least one client name OR you have selected a minor.

  3. Once you are ready to proceed, you may select the blue 'Bulk Chat' button to review the following pop up: Screen_Shot_2021-06-13_at_3.23.01_PM.png

Here you are able to review the selected client list and draft a message to be sent individually to each person listed.

  4. Once you are ready to send the message, select 'Preview Message' to review the message prior to officially sending it. Screen_Shot_2021-06-13_at_3.26.10_PM.png

The preview allows you to review the message that will be sent to your selected clients and return to edit if needed.

  5. After reviewing the message, you can select 'Send Bulk Messages' to send the messages to all individuals selected. You will receive the following confirmation when it has been sent:
