The Provider Dashboard Session Preferences offer greater control, autonomy, and efficiency in scheduling.

The three main areas included are:

  1. Customized session duration selection;
  2. Control of your session start time setting;
  3. Session type selection where you can indicate when a booking is for a couples/family session.

For your session duration customization you will be able to select from 3 different options: 45, 50 or 60 minutes.

The session duration that you select will apply both to individual and couples/family sessions.

For your session start time setting you will be able to select one of two options:

  • top of the hour (8:00; 9:00; 10:00,…) or
  • half hour (8:00; 8:30; 9:00; 9:30,…)

If you have a calendar connected, the start time that you select will determine the options visible to members when they are scheduling their therapy session.

Scheduling on the Quarter Hour

Yes, you are able to schedule sessions at the quarter hour (8:00; 8:15; 8:30; 8:45; 9:00; 9:15;…). This setting is available for all of our providers: coaches, therapists and medication management.

When you turn this setting ON it will only modify the drop-down time options that you see on the schedule a session screen. Modern Health members will continue to be unable to schedule a session starting on the quarter hour.

You can enable quarter hour scheduling by checking the box for the Show session start times in 15-minute increments, on the Schedule a session screen.

You are able to distinguish between an individual or couples/family session by looking at the bookings on your Sessions tab.

A couples/family session will have a specific icon next to it which will help you navigate through multiple bookings, as shown below:
