How do I review my calendar settings?

Once your calendar is synced, Review Calendar Connections lets you manage up to 5 calendars and adjust two key toggles:

  • Check for Conflicts (required On for all): lets Modern Health read your calendars for busy times to prevent double bookings.
  • Add to Calendar (On for at least one): puts Modern Health sessions on your main calendar.

If availability looks wrong, use Resync first; if needed, Disconnect and reconnect. Existing sessions aren’t affected.

 

Once you have successfully synced your personal calendar with Modern Health, you will now have the option to 'Review Calendar Connections'. This feature allows you to review, change, or troubleshoot existing calendar connections. In addition, you can also add up to 5 total calendars.
 

 

On existing calendar connections, you have two toggle options. You can find the toggle explanations below:

When this is 'On', Modern Health will read your connected calendar for open time slots to provide accurate availability to you and your clients when booking sessions

We require that the 'Check for Conflicts' toggle is 'On' for all of your connected calendars, as this will ensure that your availability is accurately reflected to clients based on other meetings and events you have scheduled on your personal calendar. Doing so minimizes the risk of a double bookings or having to unexpectedly cancel with a client. 

The 'Add to Calendar' toggle must be 'On' for at least one of your connected calendars. When you have multiple calendars connected, we recommend that you turn it on for the calendar that is your main calendar where you manage all of your professional and personal events that affect your availability.

If you experience any issues with your synced calendars and/or your availability is not reflecting accurately, we have provided the following two tools which can assist in resetting your calendar connection.

This will completely remove your calendar connection from the 
Provider Dashboard. 

 

 

Important note

Selecting 'Resync' and 'Disconnect'  will not impact existing scheduled sessions. We recommend using the 'Resync' option as the first step. If this does not do the trick, disconnecting your calendar and then adding it back usually helps resolve most issues related to inaccurate availability.
