After syncing at least one calendar, you can preview what availability clients see on your Sessions page. Use ‘Preview Availability’ to view and select specific days and bookable slots, which reflect your open times within set working hours. Clients and providers can schedule up to 90 days ahead. Same-day and buffer-time slots (typically 24 hours in advance) are not shown to clients. To adjust your buffer time, contact Provider Support; same-day slots require simulating a booking.
Once you have successfully connected at least one calendar, the top half of your Sessions page will present the following options:
With at least one calendar successfully synced, you are now able to confirm that your availability is accurately reflecting to your clients by selecting 'Preview availability'. The following pop up will appear:
Here you will see the availability that is shown to your clients when they attempt to book a session with you. You have to click on a specific day to see the slots that our system is capturing as bookable, as shown below:
Members, and providers, have visibility and the ability to schedule sessions as far as 90 days in advance. This preview will translate any open availability shown on your connected calendar(s) and display session times that are within the boundaries set by your working hours.
Note: We will not display available slots for the day-of or within your buffer time to members.
As a reminder 'buffer time' refers to how soon a member is able to book with you.
The standard buffer time configuration for all Modern Health providers is 24 hours. This means members are not able to schedule sessions that start within 24 hours. If you would like to modify your buffer time (increase or decrease), please reach out to Provider Support for assistance.
You won't see your same-day availability via preview availability. In order to view your same-day openings, you should go to schedule a session and simulate a booking.
